Scythe necklace in sterling silver or bronze

This piece is handmade to order and will take 2-4 weeks to ship. Bronze pendants are preorders and will take 6-8 weeks to ship.

The scythe has been a symbol of the indiscriminate and unyielding nature of death since the Black Plague ravaged Europe during the Middle Ages.

Pendant is cast in your choice of solid sterling silver or yellow bronze. It is suspended from a 2mm sterling silver patterned oval cable chain or a 2mm nickel-free stainless steel ball chain. Please note chain length up to 30" in checkout.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 1 3/16" at its widest point.

A NOTE ABOUT BRONZE: Pendants cast in bronze are raw; they have no coating or protective layer of any kind. Bronze has a high copper content, which makes it reactive to its environment and to skin. The risks inherent to bronze jewelry may include tarnishing, temporary skin discoloration, and allergic reactions.

This design has details that are pointy. Please wear it mindfully.
