Scarab choker in sterling silver or 10k gold

A sculptural piece that is inspired by my lifelong love of ancient Egyptian funerary customs. Because a scarab beetle was thought to roll the sun across the sky every day, the Egyptians associated it with the cycle of death & rebirth. It was used commonly in funerary jewelry.

Cast in your choice of solid, partially oxidized sterling silver or 10k yellow gold and hand-assembled & soldered, this necklace comes in two adjustable sizes.
