SALE/READY TO SHIP: Gilded Skulls in oxidized sterling silver and 24k gold (limited edition)

Your choice of two skull pendants, each cast in solid sterling silver and suspended from a sterling silver 3.1mm oval patterned chain. Each skull is gilded by hand in 24k gold.

The ancient Korean technique of keum-boo involves heating sterling silver and applying pure gold foil with a steel or agate burnisher. This combination of heat and pressure creates a bond in which the silver and gold atoms exchange electrons, permanently binding the gold to the silver’s surface. This process produces a much thicker and more durable layer of gold than plating; however, please wear mindfully to avoid scratches.
