Arcadia band in sterling silver, gold, or bronze

"Et in arcadia ego," which translates to "I too have been to Arcadia," was an artistic theme that combined an affinity for ancient Greek imagery and philosophy with a contemporary preoccupation with human mortality.
Arcadia is an idyllic Greek landscape representing a blissful, utopian mental state, and the "I" in the title is death incarnate, personified by a skull or, in most paintings, an inscribed tomb. Thus the phrase "et in Arcadia ego" becomes a memento mori; a reminder that even in bliss, death awaits.

Cast in your choice of sterling silver, yellow bronze, 10k gold, or 14k rose, yellow, or white gold.

Band measures 1/8" (approximately 3mm) wide.

A NOTE ABOUT BRONZE: Rings cast in bronze are raw; they have no coating or protective layer of any kind. Bronze has a high copper content, which makes it reactive to its environment and to skin. The risks inherent to bronze jewelry may include tarnishing, temporary skin discoloration, and allergic reactions.

This design has intentionally rustic details that are meant to make it look aged. Each ring will be slightly different.
