Rosemary II necklace in oxidized sterling silver
$110.00 / Sold Out
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is an evergreen shrub found by the sea in Mediterranean climates. It represented remembrance and love from the middle ages to the 19th century and is considered a sacred herb in many pagan traditions. It has been used for purification and to ward off evil spirits for thousands of years and is today valued for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties.
I sculpted this one-of-a-kind piece in wax and cast it in sterling silver directly from the original without a mold, so there will never be another exactly like it. It has been oxidized to create a dark gray patina which will brighten with use over the raised areas and remain dark in the recessed areas.
Pendant hangs on a heavy, patterned sterling silver chain.
Please request your chain length (any length from 16" to 24") during checkout.
Pendant measures 2 13/16" long and weighs 7.8gr.
As this one-of-a-kind piece has already been created, I will ship it within 3 days of purchase.
Please note that this piece is delicate and should be handled with care.
