Pomegranate bracelet or anklet in sterling silver

From Egypt to India, the pomegranate has been a symbol of wealth and fertility for thousands of years. As such, it was represented in countless ancient works of art, especially in the form of jewelry. This piece was inspired by several Parthian and Greek pieces in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Stylized pomegranates, cast in solid, partially oxidized sterling silver, dangle from a 3.5mm sterling silver patterned oval cable chain.

Each pomegranate measures 9/16" tall and 5/16" at its widest.
