Lavender II necklace in oxidized sterling silver
$100.00 / Sold Out
Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) is a perennial Mediterranean shrub in the mint family. It was used in ancient Rome for perfuming & washing clothes and as a potent evil eye. Lavender has been considered a sacred plant for millennia by many spiritual traditions, and is widely used today for its relaxing, anti-anxiety, and antibacterial properties.
I sculpted this one-of-a-kind piece in wax and cast it in sterling silver directly from the original without a mold, so there will never be another exactly like it. It has been oxidized to create a dark gray patina which will brighten with use over the raised areas and remain dark in the recessed areas.
Pendant hangs on a heavy, patterned sterling silver chain.
Please request your chain length (any length from 16" to 24") during checkout.
Pendant measures 1 15/16" long and weighs 4.4gr.
As this one-of-a-kind piece has already been created, I will ship it within 3 days of purchase.
Please note that this piece is delicate and should be handled with care.
